Limera1n by geohot!!

Hello once again!!! I am pleased to tell you all about limera1n. Sources such as Redmond pie are talking about the jailbreak program by geohot. Although the man himself has not spoken about it yet, the site seems very authentic. It is registered as the same ip adress as blackra1n.com. The site was also started when gehot was able to jailbreak os 4.0 making it all the more real!!! Better get ready for the new jailbreak because I strongly believe that this jailbreak is coming out on April 30th.
Also, Type in limera1n.com and see that the site works but as of now, only has a limegreen drop.

As I said, I was going to post a guide so here it is:(Remeber to backup files first!

1. Download the following:
a. Blackra1n(if you updated your itunes to 9.1 or you get an asl.dll error when using blackra1n, click this link to fix:

2. Download 3.1.2 firmware from http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/
3. Now go to notepad
4. Now press: File> Open> click "My computer"> click "local disk(C:)"> Press windows> click "System 32"> click "Drivers"> click "etc"> once here, on the bottom press on the "files of type" catagorey and change it from "Text Documents" to "All files"> now click "hosts"
5. Scroll down to the bottom of the file and all the way at the bottom> under the last thing put this code in: 74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com
this is how it should look: xxxx xxxx xxxxxxxxxx(these represent words above)
74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com
6. Once you put it in, PRESS SAVE, NOT SAVE AS!!!!!
7. After you save it, just exit out of the notepad
8. Now put your phone into DFU mode(Hold both home and power button for 10 seconds, until after you say zero. Then let go of the power button at the top right and continue holding the home button untill you get a message from iTunes saying,"iTunes detected an iPhone/iTouch in recovery mode"> press ok.
9. Now press and hold the shift key for windows or alt key for mac(i think)
10. While holding down the button, press restore.
11. Browse for the .ipsw you downloaded and press open
12. Now iTunes will start doing things with your iDevice and right when it is almost done, you will receive a "1015 error" THATS WHAT IS SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN!!!!!
13. Now it will tell you againt hat it has detected you iDevice in recovery mdoe again.
14. Now do steps 9-13 again.
15. Once again, you will get the 1015 error. From reading online, I read that your iDevice REALLY HAS DOWNGRADED BUT IS IN THE REVOERY LOOP OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT.
16. KNowing that it really has downgraded, run Blackra1n or blackra1n for iTunes 9.1 for those who upgraded.
17. Your device should go through the normal steps blackra1n usually does.
18. If blackra1n doesnt work the first time try running it again.
19. Your device should now load up and it should bring you to the "slide to unlock" screen.
20. You should have blackra1n there and now, all you ahve to do in install Cydia.
21. NOW YOUR DONE!!!! = D

But for all those with Iphone 3gs(like me) the baseband stays the same, making it still impossible to unlock. Sorry = D

I found a loophole to Jailbreak... NOT AN ACTUAL JAILBREAK

Hello to all! After timelessly searching through the web for a loophole to help 3gs users to jailbreak, I finally found one. It is half original and half found it on the web. I will post it up when I find the time. Maybe in a day or two. Until then.. KingofNY out.
(P.S. I was not able to unlock because the base band stays the same. SO if you do know a unlock, feel free to tell me = D)

Purplera1n?

I came across a post that said there is a purplera1n 4.0? This is most definitely FAKE. Never ever pay for a program for jail breaking. As you may or may have not read on other posts, the only true jailbreaks are FREE. The ones that charge you are just knock-offs.

What you Think- Thunderst0rm Legit?

As you all know, nobody knows if Thunderst0rm is a legit jailbreak and unlock. A lot of people are saying that it is fake, but we will found out the truth today. Thunderst0rm is supposed to be released today if everything goes well for those Swiss programmers(I think thats where there from). Although people are saying it is fake, it is not known for sure as the official jailbreak was not released. What you Think?
